Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

CNOR (Preferred)

Vaccinations

CVOR Scrub and Circulate - Required

Required Skills / Experience: Must have 3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases. These include but are not limited to: Coronary Artery Bypass: Primary and redo's; Aortic aneurysms; AVR's & MVR's: Primary and redo's; TAVR's; ECMO; VAD's

Unit / Facility Details: Parking on-site - Free

Special Requests: All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift Expectations: 6a-430p/9a-730p or 6a-730p

Weekend: Rotated based on department need

On-Call: 8-10 shifts (including 1-2 weekends) per 6 week schedule (approximately 1 w/end per month)

Holidays: 1 major summer & winter; Rotated based on dept need

Understand overtime may be necessary.
