Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with GE Mac-Lab is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Information

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Required Skills/Experience: Will be required to circulate. Options to monitor and scrub depending on skill set. Previous Charge Experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer some EP experience but can consider if none available. Teaching Hospital Experience.

Unit Details: Low-volume unit(140 cases per year)

Shift & Scheduling: Tue-Fri. Call requirements: varies - will start with 2 shifts per week to start with gradual increase over time depending on lab needs.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Congenital heart disease of all ages. Pediatric Cath/EP lab.

Equipment Used on Unit: Siemens artis icono bi-plane. Storz collaboration equipment. EnSite mapping system.

Special Requests: RTO should be included at the time of submission

Previous Employment Requirements: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
