Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Must have Charge Nurse experience

Required Credentials: Conscious Sedation certification

Special Requests: Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.

15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.

Shift & scheduling: Night Shift, but flexible to work Days

Weekends and Holidays - If Needed

Maybe required to work up to 48 hours/week

Holiday Coverage: Yes

Floating Requirement: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced/competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc.
