Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

High School completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Northwestern Medicine AND any of its acquired facilities MUST be included on employment history.

Required Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of the International 10-20 system of electrode placement.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Care Technologist (RRT).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Prior sleep tech experience, ideally at a facility accredited by the AASM.
Community Hospital experience.
Teaching Hospital experience.

Preferred Credentials:

Current and valid Driver’s License or Government Photo ID with address preferred, but highly recommended by client to have on file.
Bachelor’s Degree or additional training in electroneurodiagnostics, anatomy, or successful completion of certification in allied health school.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Adults

Special Requests: All time off must be included at the time of submission, RTO CANNOT be added after submittal.

Shift & Scheduling:

No weekend requirement (Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon), but Friday night carries over into Saturday morning.
Thursday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Floating Requirements: Sometimes will work in Galter sleep lab at 675 N, St. Clair.
