Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
High School completion required
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Northwestern Medicine AND any of its acquired facilities MUST be included on employment history.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of the International 10-20 system of electrode placement.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Care Technologist (RRT).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Prior sleep tech experience, ideally at a facility accredited by the AASM.
  • Community Hospital experience.
  • Teaching Hospital experience.

Preferred Credentials:

  • Current and valid Driver’s License or Government Photo ID with address preferred, but highly recommended by client to have on file.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or additional training in electroneurodiagnostics, anatomy, or successful completion of certification in allied health school.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Adults

Special Requests: All time off must be included at the time of submission, RTO CANNOT be added after submittal.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • No weekend requirement (Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon), but Friday night carries over into Saturday morning.
  • Thursday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Floating Requirements: Sometimes will work in Galter sleep lab at 675 N, St. Clair.
