Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: General post-surgical skillset to include Incision care, Assessment, Drains, Chest Tubes, Wound Care/Wound vacs, Mobility, Education, Trach Care, NG tube insertion, Use of braces/traction, etc.

Shift & schedule requirements: 36 or 48 hours are available. Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises. Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice. If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock).
