Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from last 18 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

ACLS (Preferred)

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Same as med surg. Mostly medical- Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation pts, AKI, occasional lap chole, appy, etc.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀/𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀/𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac rule out, low heart score, low level surgical, abd pain.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: One NEO, one day clinical/EPIC, one day on floor.

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁/𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Rapid Decision Unit / # of Beds: 15

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: Block scheduling can not be guaranteed. If you require an interview with the manager, please make a note of it in your special requests. Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule / Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: - Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts in 4 week period.

Holiday Requirement: 2 of 5 holidays (this counts the eves).
