Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Cardiac experience at least 1-2 years general.

Shift: Mon.-Fri. 0630a-3p (for 8hrs), 0630-5p (10hrs)

On Call - On a 6-week schedule, RNs on cardiac cover about 10-12 call shifts. 30 min call turnaround time (call rooms can be arranged if needed)

Our Cardiac nurses circulate general procedures when needed.

SGNA Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates preferred

Required to use physical restraints

Work Experience 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred

Completion of OR internship program preferred

Training Successful completion of Periop 101 preferred

Patient Population Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures
