Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2-3 yrs in specialty

Must have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if you do not have this experience, then you must have experience with post-TPA pts.

Required Credentials: Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a pass/fail test.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies

Unit/Facility Details:

beds: 30 beds

Orientation: 1 day on unit

Shift & Scheduling: schedules made out about 6 weeks in advance.

Weekend Requirement: every other

Holidays: No holiday requirement at this time but may be required to work.

Holiday RTO will be considered, however it cannot be guaranteed.

Floating Requirements: Any of the tele or medsurg units
