Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of Long Term Care experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with MatrixCare is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alaska license

TEAM/Bert training certificate

Required skills and minimum years of experience:

• Registered Nurse II: Advancement from an RN I or at least one (1) year, continuous experience in a comparable patient care setting. RNs must remain at this level for a minimum of one year before applying for advancement. Must float to one other unit within one (1) year of appointment.

• Registered Nurse III: Three (3) years of current clinical experience (Current indicates experience within the last five years from time of application) or, one (1) year of experience as a Bartlett RN II. An RN III is expected to establish a float in at least one primary area within one year of hire.

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program

Weekends are required on a rotating basis

Patient Ratio: 1/15 - 21 days, 1/25 nights

Dress Code: Scrubs

Orientation: RN will have organization orientation along with training at WFC.
