Shift: Day / Night - 07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
Travel: Yes - Prefer at least one level IV NICU assignment completed
Weekend: Required to work 2-3 weekends per 6-week schedule
Required:
Level 4 NICU experience required, or level III that included some surgical and trach vent management
Experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vents, various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation
Traveler must have completed two years in an acute care setting in addition to at least one year in a level IV NICU or level III NICU meeting above requirements.
Telemetry:
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. - Passing score of 80% or higher
Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass
Provide care for critically ill newborns, infants and their families across the continuum of care, from admission to discharge.
Provide care for infants requiring the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical complexities
Floating: Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization
Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite
Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.

Orientation: 36 Hours

Special Equipment:
Ventilators for invasive and noninvasive ventilation, including NAVA. (Draeger, servo & oscillator)

RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process.
Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required.
Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.
Orientation:
UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday
Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change)
Orientation is typically about one week
