Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit and facility details: Ratio: 1:2 primarily with some 1:1 with higher acuity and 1:3 when holding overflow or patient transfer status.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating shifts only (cannot offer SN or SD); Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

Primary unit is ICU/Critical Care. Will be required to float to med/surg or step down units as need.
Would prefer willingness to float to other department with orientation based on their skill sets.
