𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: If you've previously worked at an NYCHH facility, please update your employment dates on your profile and contact your Advocate with your NYCHH supervisor's name to speed up your application. This information is necessary for your submission.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: -Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience. -Wound and Colostomy experience.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: -Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accreditated Nursing Program / Current certification in one of the following: -Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). -Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB. -Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB. -Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). -Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval). / Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility)./ Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: no oncall / Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.
