All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Cert: BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule: Yes. RTO Restrictions: Only 1 time off request per 13 week assignment of 5 days or less.

Shift & Scheduling: Assignment Length: 13 or 26 Weeks. On call every 5th Weekend.
