Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Need 1 RN manager or director reference. Must have academic medical center experience or experience in a 500+ bed facility.

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are review on a very limited basis).

ED Boarder

Shift & Scheduling: every other weekend, every other holiday.

Unit Details: This environment is different from a traditional inpatient unit. The nurses care for patients in the hallway in addition to bays, need to go to several different care areas to get their patients/medications/supplies, always a lot of activity, and the turnover/pace is much faster than an inpatient unit.
