Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Continuous infusion of chemotherapy, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral administration of chemotherapy, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central line/implanted line care, Acute tumor lysis syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal cord compression, Chest tube care and management, Neutropenic precautions, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 years in Oncology highly preferred, 3-4 years may be considered

Required Credentials: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: The ideal candidate will be open to accepting a perm job at the facility after this 13 week assignment.

This position is for an RN who will be at at a new state-of-the-art Cancer Center adjacent to Mission Hospital.

Shift & Scheduling: No On Call and Weekend

Floating Requirements: All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state.
