Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Cannot have any previous hits on licensure. Cannot have any of the following background hits: Domestic disputes or domestic violence (at any time), theft (within 5 years), DUIs (within 5 years), drug charges including marijuana (at any time), felony (at any time).

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours.

• Weekend Hours: Every Third Weekend.

• Float Requirements: (Must be willing to other units at Fraizer).

• Equipment: Tube feed, ventilator, trach care, Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, suction, vents.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Trach Care and G-Tube.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Med Surg.

• Type of Patients on Unit: Spinal Floor / Brain Injury.

• Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue.
