All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Conduction Studies, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Scrub Procedures, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. LA City Fire Card. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion.
Shift & Scheduling: Call Required - 5 - 6 shifts every 2 weeks. Every other weekend- from Fri at 5:30pm until Mon 7AM. 1 day during the week. Example: On call Tuesday, on call Fri-Mon morning and then on call Wednesday. Is on-call Req: Yes, about 5-6 shifts every 2 weeks. 30 min response time.
Floating Requirements: Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
