Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or CRT Accepted
  • Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral/nasal suctioning, Tracheostomy care/management, Extubation, Intubation assist, Nasal airway placement, Oral airway placement, Sputum specimen collection, Oxygen therapy, Bag and mask, ET tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-piece, Trach collar, Ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Nebulizer, Hand held

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Teaching Hospital Experience
  • Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials:

  • References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
  • Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Will work every other weekend.
  • Is on-call REQ? Required as needed for the department.
