Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience.

ADN completion preferred

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum Experience: 1-2 years, previous Emergency Department experience required, experience with pediatrics required.

Unit/Facility Details: Unit Info: Level 1. Efficient, fast paced 50 bed ED.

Majority of their cases are low acuity, but also see high acuity as well

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: 2 weekends per month

Holiday Rotation: Rotate every other

Floating Requirements: Float Requirements: Yes, caregivers would be floated to “sit” for a patient and not perform actual inpatient nursing duties.
