Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Required Credentials: Will be required to take Dysrhythmia exam at orientation

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used- TCDs, PICCS, midlines, CBI, chest tubes. Oxygen- NC, Hi-flow, trach

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient population- A-fib, NSTEMI/STEMI, CHF, CVA/TIA, Anasarca, Chest pain, cardiac workup-angina, SVT, post cardiac cath, dialysis, AKI, pulmonary edema, hypokalemia/hyperkalemia, other metabolic disorders affecting cardiac output/conduction.

Unit/Facility Details: 3 North - Monitor tech on unit
