Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months

6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:* Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), general medical/surgical skillset – care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.

Required Credentials: ASN/BSN

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free? Yes.

Special Requests:

• RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

• Shift times: 0645-1915; 1845-0715

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: Every other

• Holiday Requirements; Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks.

Floating Requirements:

• Within region and scope of practice.

• Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
