Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New York license
Certifications

Qualifications Required:

Completion of Healthstreams course bundle for infusion nursing prior to the start in the infusion room

Experience with infusions, transfusions

Competent in IV insertion

Central line accessing and deaccessing

Q4h vital signs

Q8h intake and output

Pain assessments

Shift assessment

Full admission assessment for new patients to include an acceptance note with a 2 RN skin and belongings check documented
