Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

C-EFM (Preferred)

RNC-OB (Preferred)

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Special Request: No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 Weekend shifts per schedule, No Call required

Patient Population: AWHONN Staffing Standards – as staffing allows

Skills Required: Laboring experience, OR Circulating, Magnesium and Oxytocin administration experience

Skills Preferred: Newborn transitioning experience

EMR: – Meditech / CPN

List of procedures in the unit: Laboring of patients, Delivering newborns, Cesarean sections, Care of the antepartum patient

Float Requirement: To Antepartum, Mother Baby
