Requirements

Experience

24 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years inpatient RN experience.

Required Credentials: Required Education: Nursing Diploma OR Associate’s Degree (ASN).

Equipment Used on Unit: Lumbar/JP drains, wound vac , Skills: traction, PCA, trach, EKG, feeding tubes.

Unit/Facility Details: NH-4GHK , Neuro Surgical Specialty (NAH) , 34 beds , Galaxy Blue (not provided) , Neuro institute, optional neuro cert class , RN doesn’t read tele , Dx: spine/neuro surg (not stroke).
