Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Orientation is bi-weekly.
Upcoming Start Dates: 4/28, 5/12, 5/26.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: rotating every other weekend
Call Requirements: minimal
Required Certifications: L/D- fetal monitoring class within 2 years
Float Requirements: L/D- only to sit or task for low census, PP- rotates for low census
Patient Ratios: LD per AWHONN standards, PP 6:1 max, usu 3-4:1
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: OB/ 2E- PP/ GYN, Med/Surge overflow (hips, knees)
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Circulate in OR for L/D
Scrub Color: L/D- hospital supplied; PP/GYN- any
Any unacceptable attire: professional scrub attire
