An interview may not be available prior to offer.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.

No block scheduling.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Orientation Hours: 12 Hours

Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend

Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through una, only (with 2 MAX attempts).

Unit Details:

• No. of beds: 32 bed

Required Skills/Experience:

• Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating: To similar or lower acuity.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

• Common diagnosis: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down only.

Types of Patients on Unit:

• No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.
