Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

For positions that require radiation exposure, clinicians are required to purchase their own OSL Luxel dosimeter badge.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 2 years of experience, will consider someone with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel experience.
• Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in c-sections; Must be comfortable assisting with catching baby and transitioning baby.
• RNs required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin and Insulin.

Unit and facility details: Ratio: 1:2 L&D & 1:3-4 couplets.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Every other (Friday and Saturday).
• Holidays rotate in with perm staff.
• Call or standby requirement: When placed standby, response time is 45 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Mother baby and post-partum all one unit. No floating to NICU. No floating outside of the department; Labor Travelers also need to function in Postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies; also need to be able to transition babies & attend low risk deliveries.
