Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements: Varies, based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: Will float to PCU and Medical floors
Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:2, if we do have downgrades we staff the medical patients at 1:5 and PCU at 1:4
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: COPD, pneumonia, CVA, TIA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, STEMI, neuro
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, Insulin, TNK, Heparin, IV Antibiotics, Sedatives
RNs must read and interpret
RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
