Additional Details:

Patients in the ICU typically require intensive monitoring and support for critical conditions including:

  • Cardiac conditions such as heart failure or arrhythmias

  • Respiratory issues requiring mechanical ventilation or advanced oxygen therapy

  • Multi-organ failure or sepsis -Post-operative recovery for high-risk surgical procedures

Nurses are expected to manage complex care, administer critical medications, and perform advanced interventions like arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
