Required Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Central line care/management, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Computerized documentation, Titration of IV vasopressors.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month
Floating Requirements: Do not apply if you are not willing to meet the possible floating obligation.
ICU RNs will float between numerous ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU. If needed to support staffing, ICU RNs may be asked to float to MS units.
Cook is a mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles.
Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift.
There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency. If they are floated outside of their primary competency, the team-based model will be used.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
