Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Rotating day off during the week,1 Saturday a month if needed, 1 Holiday a rotation if needed.

Weekend REQ: 1 Sat a month, if needed

No call required.

Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes - within service line and scope

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Siemens equipment experience required

IV Starts and PACS preferred

Experience with Outpatient/Inpatient, ER, Level 1Traums, Teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, Adult ICU preferred

Preferred skills: Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1/T-2 weighted images

Prefer that applicants can work two of our three softwares. Current scanners are: Siemens: Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida (Multiple of each)

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Patient Diagnoses: Preferred: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Experience level with 2 of the 3 below needs to be confirmed. If unable to confirm from the profile please "conditional pass" if they meet the other criteria and have the experience confirmed prior to submittal:

  • -Vida/Sola
  • -Skyra/Aera
  • -Espree

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Allied and Non-Clinical: Travelers can stay for a period of 12 months. Must take a 6 month break in service after 12 months
