Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Day/Night Shift Position. 36 hours per week

2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience is required; must have worked in a dedicated CVICU/CICU - must also have strong experience on all advanced therapy modalities.

Must Have Recent Experience/competency: VV/VA ECMO, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps), TTM/arctic Sun, Impella,

Must be able to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips; Manage and titrate Cardiac/Vasoactive Drips;

Common Types of Patients/Diagnosis: Post Op CABG, Heart and Lung Transplant, Cardiogenic Shock, Advanced HF Management, Cardiac Arrhythmia, Lysis, Post IR/PCI Procedures, & TEVAR.

Weekend requirement- Every Other Weekend;

Holidays- 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s). A holiday includes the day before, day of, and day after the holidays listed.

Floating: will be primary in between CICU and CVICU but is first to float to other IFMC ICUs including Stepdown/Progressive Care/IMC/Tele Units.

Ratios- 1:1 or 1:2, Stepdown 1:3

Scrubs- Navy Blue Pants and Solid Navy-Blue tops or Solid white (Jackets Solid Navy Blue or Solid white)
