Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency: low.
Required Skills/Experience:
Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips.

Unit Details:
Unit Name: Phippen
Brief Unit Description: 32 Bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflow. Census: 32 Total Beds. 16 beds in Phippen 6 & 16 beds in Phippen.
Clinician to Patient Ratio: Day and Eve shifts are 1:4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1:5 or 6.
Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.
Types of patients in the unit: Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow.
