Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills and Experience: ICU experience. Strong IV skills required.

Preferred Skills and Experience: CVICU preferred.

Required Credentials: Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months. All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage. Holidays: Work into rotation.

Floating Requirements: Float to other ICUs and all Tele units. patient ratio of 4:1 on tele. Travelers will float 1st before perm staff. Also required to float to Westgate if asked.

Special Request Requirements: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles

Unit and Facility Details: Very high acuity, travelers with IABP and CABG experience can take patients. High number of bedside procedures, bronchs, Swans, epidurals.
