Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.

No Block Scheduling.

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Holiday Requirement: Per department needs.

Call Requirement: 12-14 calls/6 week staffing matrix

Neuro On-call details:

30-minute on-call response from notification to walking through the hospital doors
Call would start immediately after your shift and extend until 07:00 the next day
Call frequency discussed:
More chances for weekday call than weekend call. Looking at about 1-2 nights of call per week.
Potential for weekend call (Fri, Sat, Sun) is 2 weekends within 6-week schedule matrix
Call starts Friday after your shift and extends until 07:00 Monday morning

Required experience: Neuro, trauma, ortho and robotics

Teaching Hospital Experience required.

Could care for COVID patients.

Tobacco and fragrance-free facility - please notify traveler prior to submission.
