Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

General X-Ray/CT

Shift: both day shifts - 7a-330p or 930a to 6p and evening shifts - 2p-1030p usually rotating every other week

Weekend Requirements: Potentially every third weekend- dependent on experience and manager evaluation (it would be 6p-2a)

Holiday Requirements potentially, dependent on experience and manager evaluation

Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: Rotation is weekend coverage only, every third weekend, manager will evaluate, dependent on experience

Will they have to float/cover any other areas? ER, OR, Med Surg, PACU

How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 S-ray rooms, 1 CT room, 2 portable units, 2 c-arms

Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: General X-ray, general CT (no CT guided procedures/ IR), familiar with contrast administration, not required to start IV, comfortable working alone at times

Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Shimadzu rooms, GE- c-arms, Fugi portable and Shimadzu portable, Siemens 64 slice CT scanner

X-ray and CT experience

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Some CT experience and hit the floor running, comfortable with transferring patients
