Medical Surgical Ortho-Spine

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Call Requirements: None / May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts / Holiday Requirements: Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Eve + Day = 1 holiday.

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘀: 1:5-6 for RNs, 1:12-15 for CNAs.

𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Types of patients: total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder, ankles), ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical surgeries, elective lumbar surgeries, elective thoracic surgeries, fractures, traumas, limb preservation, I&D of wounds, and any medical overflow patient (including legal holds – SIs).

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: 38 bed unit with all private rooms. Med Surg unit with Orthopedic and Neurosurgery specialty.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
