Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Required Skills/Experience:

Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), CVP, A-Line care/blood draws.
Insulin gtts, Cardiac gtts.
Nursing must read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge RN experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials: NURSYS.

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend rotation: Every other; travel pairs are allowed to work the same weekend generally.
Holiday Expectations: yes, as needed.

Floating Requirements: May float to Med Surg to take a patient assignment (ratio 1:5 days & 1:6 nights). May float to ED to task/as helping hands.
