Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Dialysis Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years of dialysis experience including inpatient experience. Tele reads & measure experience. Experience using Fresenius machines.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Acute dialysis including hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis.

Types of Patients on Unit: Remote tele, ICU patients dialysis including AKI, ESRD.

Equipment Used on Unit: Fresenius 2008T machines.

Unit/Facility Details: Bed Size: IMMC - 5, ILH - 2.

Special Requests: Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving). Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Shift & Scheduling: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 36 hrs/week; Call - Friday 1900-2200, Saturday/Sunday 1900-0700.

Floating Requirements: Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist.
