Requirements
Experience
12 months of acute care experience.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Mother/Baby experience.
BSN completion preferred
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience:

Triage, Antepartum, Labor , Postpartum, Neonatal care. , Must be comfortable stabilizing babies.

LDRP set up requiring care of Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum patients, stable newborns and stabilization for transport of sick neonates.

One-year labor experience required or completed extended orientation period, up to a year, meeting all expectations for no labor experience. A nurse with no labor experience can be hired by the Perinatal nurse manager based on current preceptor/orientation availability.

Required Credentials:

BFHI (Baby-Friendly) Lactation Education required or within 6 months of hire

Education: Graduate of School of Nursing

Gnosis annual assessment of EFM principles within 3 months of hire and on-going

Preferred Credentials: BSN/BA preferred

Shift & Scheduling: On-Call Required 2x in 13 week assignment
