Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit. : 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous HCA experience preferred.

Required Credentials: ENPC within 90 days of hire

Equipment Used on Unit: baxter pumps, GE monitors

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds : 101

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.

Floating Requirements: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.

**Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
