Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Self scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.
Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday.
Holiday Requirement: May have 1 holiday off in an assignment
Floating Requirement: Float to tele with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio as needed; First to float - could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert

Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, morphine, dilaudid, ketamine, rocuronium, Levophed, vasopressin, Cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, insulin
RN required to interpret own strip - GE monitors
*****UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position. Max attempt is 2.
**There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.
Additional Notes: Will validate skills for trauma, neuro and specialty devices as needed. Sister units are a medical/cardiac 36 bed ICU & 12 bed overflow ICU. Expectation is to float between all 3 ICUs.
Additional Questions: Okay with first time traveler, however must have 3 years experience (with 2 of those years in the ICU). Level 1 experience or neuro experience not required but preferred. Prefer prior experience work at a similar size unit ICU.
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
