Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong ED infant experience with a ventilator. NICU experience not required.

• Work Settings: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department.

• Professional Knowledge and Skills: Drawing Arterial Blood Gases, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Intubation Assist, Nasal Airway Placement, Nasal Airway Suctioning, Oral Airway Placement, Oral/Nasal Suctioning, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy Care/Management.

• We will still submit 1.5yrs experience if Level I or with travel experience.

Required Credentials: HS diplomas for lab to be able to run I-STATs ABGs.

Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day / Evening Shifts; Mix of 8 and 12hr shifts per department need.

• Will work at least every other weekend and holiday dependent on departments need.

Floating Requirements: RI and CT license required to float to sister campus Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
