Requirements
Experience
48 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Case Management experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
BSN completion required
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Guaranteed Hour: 40

Every other weekend. No overtime.

Years of experience: 2 years of recent acute inpatient case management experience required. 4 years of overall nursing experience required

Patient Types: Inpatient, adults, no peds. Will see ICU, PCU, MedSurg, and ER patients If candidate has predominantly worked at children’s hospitals, they will not be a good fit for here. Will not care for L&D or NICU

Skills required: Acute care case management experience is a must. Will do post-discharge planning and provide resources for post-discharge. There is info for community resources that will be provided. ER and Utilization Review experience is preferred

Orientation: Approximately 1-3 days; need to be prepared to jump in to see patients day one. Could expect to have patient interventions on the first day but will be paired with another case manager RN

On call: No

Holiday Expectations: Will be required to work at least 1 holiday, can work more if wanted

Approval of RTO: to go through manager. All RTO must be requested up front

Shift times: Typically, five 8h shifts. The most amount of shifts they will be scheduled to work in a row is 6

Schedule cycle: Manager will make the schedule. Will get the schedule a few weeks prior to schedule start.

Scrub Color: No scrubs; dress code is business casual

Parking: Parking lot or garage, free parking

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
