Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: *Triage, IV Starts, Phlebotomy, Isolation Precautions, Ventilated patients, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi.

RN MUST HAVE triage experience (hardstop).
Requires expert prioritization and organizational skills to manage a fast ER pace.
Respiratory, CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients, Work Settings, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Triage, and IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Community Hospital Experience.

Unit/Facility Details May come into contact with Covid Patients

Within past 8 mo, candidate must have worked in an ED setting that has at least 45,600 visits per yr (125/day).

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Please ensure all RTO is for the full 13 weeks for each submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage: Every Other. Call Required: every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary.
