Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Paper/Non-electronic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Starting IVs of of Same Day Surgery pts, basic admission assessment for SDS pts, familiarity with Type I/Type II diabetic pt's and performance of Med Rec, ability to perform clinically sound DC teaching for ENDO pt's and ability to work in a fast paced Stage II environment. Majority of pt's are outpt.

Unit/Facility Details: Day Surgery/PACU.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable. Call: 1530-0700 at least 1 shift per wk. Weekend call; 1 per 4 weeks.
