Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis, pulmonary fibrosis, ILD

Patient Diagnoses: Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis, pulmonary fibrosis, ILD Special Procedures/Unit Details: Manage Amiodarone drip. Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6/7). Night ratios are 6/7 to 1 (stretch 8/9). Rapid response team activation. 1 year of recent experience -We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living -We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines

Required Credentials: Government Issued Photo ID required.

Equipment Used on Unit: BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Chronic Ventilators, trach, chest tubes

Special Requests: Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required Call Required - Y as needed

Floating Requirements: Float Required: Yes - Will not practice outside of scope
