Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from the last 3 years.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

NIHSS (Required)

PALS (Required)

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Floating between facilities may be expected between Manteca & Modesto or Riverside & Moreno Valley. May be asked to float to lower acuities.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

This position is subject to floating to units within the clinician's skill set.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of current experience in progressive or intermediate care unit preferred.

BLS, ACLS, PALS - AHA, American Red Cross, Canadian Heart and Stroke, Military Training Network only.

NIH - Must be AHA or National Stroke Association. Must be completed on http://www.nihstrokescale.org/if not AHA
