Requirements

Experience

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required from the last 4 years.

6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

All Myjourney modules need to be completed prior to arrival. Traveler will be pushed back if all modules are not completed. No exceptions

Types of cases: General surgery, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, Urology….we pretty much do everything here except Trauma (even though we have our fair share of stabbings, gunshot wounds, MVAs etc. We also have a strong Open Heart Surgery program and our CVOR is where we could really use some support.

Call required: On Call requirement 1 night a week and 1 weekend per 4 weeks

Weekend Requirements: Yes, but this is a soft yes. If the traveler is not amenable to working some Saturdays—then that’s okay. We need more weekday coverage.
