Requirements
Experience
12 months of acute care experience.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
BSN completion required
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2 + years of experience with: Cervical exams Infant delivery (deliveries will occasionally need the assistance of RNs while on call physician reports) Perform duties that are consistent with the standard of care and in alignment with industry standards with minimal supervision (Not a teaching hospital, no resident physicians) Practicing in a community hospital setting with a regional mission Must have Charge level experience

All need postpartum couplet care experience. Nursery experience in a level 2 nursery or higher acuity for SCN positions.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring, stabilization of a neonate, trouble shooting high acuity situations and good triage assessment skills

Required Credentials: ADN or BSN
